Hi, I’m Rachel.
Maybe you’ve been through trauma. Maybe you’re sitting on top of the world but still feel stuck. Maybe you’re ready to finally shed the story of who you were so you can become who you are. Or maybe you just understand what we bring to the table and you can’t walk away without it because you know what we can do.
I got here because I’ve been there. I was born into a family of 8 girls in an insular religion, married at a young age, affected by domestic violence. I managed to pull myself out of these things, recover from trauma, reconstruct my beliefs, and achieve highly in academia, business/career, and life.
With a background as a critical care paramedic and firefighter/rope rescue technician, wilderness instructor, nature school teacher, college adjunct instructor, and entrepreneur, I bring a wide variety of perspectives and wisdom into my therapy and coaching.
Certifications, PhD/graduate level research, and trainings include: Gottman Level One, Yoga-CBT, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Committment Therapy, Ecotherapy, Wilderness and Experiential/Adventure Therapy, Rapid Resolution Therapy, Ketamine and Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy, Psychedelic Integration Therapy, Transpersonal Pyschology, and Trauma-specific modalities/theory.
My Approach
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to improve your marriage. Maybe you want to control your anxiety and imposter syndrome that keep you from achieving as highly as you could. Whatever it is, we can help get you there. My approach is holistic in that it looks at all parts of who you are, and eclectic in that I customize the interventions, techniques, and ways we will help you reach your goals based off of the uniqueness of you and your life. Three areas will be targeted: healing, growing, and consistently performing. Performing? Yes—we look at life as a performance. For some people, this might mean dominating their career or winning a sport title. For others, this may mean feeling on top of their parenting game or controling their anxious thoughts. Whether you are managing PTSD, depression, relationships; leveling up as a musician, business person, or maintaining a high-stress job—we’ve got you covered.
